Baking Policies

When ordering through So So Sweet By Ashley, the customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

Payment due:

You pay, I’ll bake! A retainer of 50% is required up front at the time of placing your order so that I can source your supplies & ingredients. This also confirms & guarantees your date for your order! Any cancellations made within the same week as the order will result in no refund of your retainer.

No Show = No Baked Goods:

Your items ordered are best enjoyed fresh. Not showing up to the agreed pick up time will result in forfeiting your order. I will accept a re-schedule within reason and by exception basis. Please contact me 48 hours in advance to re-schedule. Pick up is required unless previous arrangements were made for delivery. No retainer refunds will be given for a no show.

Pick Up Dates & Time:

Pick up dates and times will be scheduled and agreed upon during the ordering process. Pick ups will be between the hours of 10am and 6pm Monday-Sunday.

Change Cutoff:

Order changes can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. After that, all change requests will be under consideration.

Inspiration:

Thanks for sending over those inspo pictures! They are just that – inspiring. But your cookies, cakes or cupcakes may not be perfect replicas – I’ll try to keep it close.

Illnesses:

I know that you can’t control when you have come in contact with a person who has Covid or another illness. I am happy to work with you to find the best solution! I can freeze your cookies for 2 weeks if you need to reschedule your event. I can also offer a no-contact pick up for your goodies.

Price Adjustments:

All prices are subject to change. Prices are often decided by the constant increases being made to ingredients. I am unable to honor old pricing (I wish the grocery store would honor their old prices too!).

Order Minimums:

I require a minimum of one dozen on all cookie, cupcake and macaron orders. Need fewer? Stay tuned for a pop up shop or presale announcement on my Facebook or Instagram page!

Damages After Pick Up:

Once you pick-up your order (thanks again, by the way), what happens to your baked goods is all on you! Keep‘em safe! Unfortunately, I cannot offer refunds.

Shipping:

At this time, I am unable to ship due to WA State Cottage Food laws.

Cottage Food Laws:

This order has been made in a home kitchen not inspected by WA state criteria. My kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, gluten free. Boring disclaimer… But it’s the law!

Refunds:

While I hope you love my baked goodies, if you are not 100% satisfied with your order, please contact me immediately so I can help troubleshoot any problems. I may request a sample of the item to be returned so I can figure out what the issue was. I will then determine if a credit may be issued for a future order. Please know that I strive for perfection - the only way to improve is to hear from you! Don’t be shy if you are not happy.
